"The Internal Market Information System (IMI) is a multilingual online database that allows for information sharing amongst national, regional and local authorities in EU Member States and the EU Commission. Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications (MRPQ) is part of the module designed within IMI which has the following functionality; 'Professional Qualification Alerts'; 'Notifications' and 'Requests for Information' Discovery project is initiated to help understand potential solution for information / data sharing of qualifications between the UK and EU if continued access to the existing Internal Management Information (IMI) system pending on the outcome of negotiation"
