ITQ - Server and Storage Hardware

The supply, installation and commissioning of new Server and Storage equipment to the replace the existing end of service life Servers and Storage system at the Council's primary and disaster recovery (DR) computing sites. For the primary site, which is located in the Town Hall, this will be the replacement of 2 VMware Host Servers and the introduction of new dedicated VMware Server for hosting Oracle environments. All three of these will utilise the current production NetApp Storage Array. For the DR site, which is located at another site, this will be the replacement of the current server and storage hardware with the following: • A Citrix Virtual Desktop Host • A VMware Host • NetApp Storage Array • Storage Network Switch Professional services will be required to assist the Council's IT Service Team to installation, testing, commissioning and decommissioning of the production and DR environments. This will include the migration of production workloads.
