Description
Hampshire has two busy ports, Southampton and Portsmouth, with many miles of coastline both on the mainline and also on the IOW to police. In order to facilitate this, the Force has awarded a contract to an organisation to design, build and supply 2 Rigid (Hulled) Inflatable Boats (RIBs).

Purchase: Both vessels are anticipated to be delivered within 12 months of Contract Award. That said, there is scope to extend the build period by up to 12 months to ensure that the final boat can be built and delivered, although it is hoped that this will not be needed. Both the minimum warranty period and any extended warranty period shall extend beyond the build period.
