Description
Tenders are invited for the supply of service in respect of Domiciliary Care. The tender is split into geographical lots: Lot 1 - Central Locality Lot 2 - West Locality Lot 3 - East Locality Lot 4 - South Locality Tenderers can apply for one or more of the above lots however, any single Service Provider will only be awarded up to a maximum of two lots. It is at the Council's sole discretions how the lots are allocated and the number of lots allocated to each successful Service Provider. For each of the four geographical lots, The Authority will appoint a maximum of four Service Providers in each lot. Care packages will then be allocated between the Service Providers on a strictly rotational basis. It is anticipated that for existing care packages the contract will start incrementally with customers being offered the choice of a direct payment or moving to the provider in their area on the new framework at the time of their annual review. The Authority has a maximum set rate for the provision of Domiciliary Care services. Tenderers must confirm that they accept delivery at these rates as part of their bid. Tenderers must also have sufficient CQC registration in place prior to the contract start date. The contract is for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. This service is demand led therefore there is no guarantee of any level of work. However the contract value is based on previous spend. Therefore the approximate annual contract value is 11,100,000 GBP
