Co-ordination assistance of the Department for Education's 2022 -2025 Holiday Activities and Food Programme in Knowsley

Knowsley Council (the Council) has been allocated a grant by the Department for Education to co-ordinate the delivery of free holiday activities and healthy food for disadvantaged children during the period of 2022 - 2025. The free places are for children in Knowsley who are eligible for and receive benefits-related free school meals currently (8,007 pupils). The duration of the places is for the equivalent of at least four hours a day, four days a week and for six weeks a year. This is to cover four weeks in the summer and a week's worth of provision in each of the Easter and Christmas holidays.
