Description

The objective of this task is to provide technical Support to carry out an options assessment to inform a review of the delivery options that will conclude in a preferred option decision for M6 Lune Gorge. The expected duration of the task is 5 months to provide an independent review, challenge of, and propose alternative options for the phasing and delivery methodology adopted by the M6 Lune Gorge and the core M6 Junction 38 project and its footprint. It will consolidate all technical, environmental, stakeholder, safety, and assurance requirements identified during early-stage planning and aligns them to a structured, stage based workflow. Works will draw upon AtkinsRealis' previous engagement with the project, and regional presence which enables us to draw upon local network knowledge and experience. The work will comply with applicable and current standards including CD122 Geometric Design, GG104 Safety Risk Assessment, Chapter 8 Traffic Management, and other relevant national and organisational procedures.
