Under Track Crossing of Utilities 8 Nr pipejacks under the GWML and North Depot railway to carry diverted utilities The UTX will be formed of 8 No. 1.2m internal diameter precast concrete pipes jacked through the ground below the GWML and North Pole (IEP) railway lines. Seven of the bores are to be constructed from a temporary steel sheet piled launch pit located adjacent to OOCL within the decommissioned Hex depot. They will be jacked approximately 175m to a reception pit located within the Wormwood Scrubs common land just south of the boundary to the IEP depot. The eighth bore, which is nearest to Old Oak Common Lane, is to be driven from reception pit located within Wormwood Scrubs land. This 160m long bore will terminate in a reception pit constructed just north of the out of use Down/Up Wycombe Line, railway embankment and adjacent to Old Oak Common Lane Commence works on site July 2020 with the construction of launch and reception pits, including site establishment by the sub-contractor. Commence pipe jacking October 2020, complete December 2020. Prior to this works the sub- contractor shall complete detailed planning, SHEQ documentation approval with all parties, temporary works design and approvals, fabrication design and approvals. The selected Supply Chain Partner must be able to demonstrate: Thames Water approved contractor Micro boring Specialist Deep Drainage Temporary Works Working in railway environment Dimensional Control About the buyer's selection process: Respondents to this opportunity should be advised that shortlisted applicants will be invited to tender through an external ERP system. The exact scoring criteria are currently being developed by BBVS, and shortlisted suppliers will be invited to register for the ERP system in due course. What is clear at this stage is that tenders will be scored competitively across a range of criteria, such as, but not limited to: HSEQ, Commercial, Programme, Methodology (particularly with working in a track environment). About the buyer: In 2018, Balfour Beatty, VINCI and Systra (BBVS) created a strategic alliance to deliver major infrastructure projects for HS2, in particular the Terminus at Old Oak Common. BBVS are committed to delivering this project to align with the key principles of Integrity, Leadership, Respect & Safety. Respondents to this opportunity should be advised that shortlisted applicants will be invited to tender through an external ERP system. The exact scoring criteria are currently being developed by BBVS, and shortlisted suppliers will be invited to register for the ERP system in due course.
