Description
International Climate Finance (ICF) is a UK government commitment to support developing countries to respond to the challenges of climate change. Defra requires a specialist consultant to deliver two interrelated pieces of work to support Defra to develop an ICF business case for a Nature-based Solution (NbS) programme commitment to support developing countries to respond to the challenges of climate change. Both commissions are scoping studies for the NbS Accelerator, International Climate Finance (ICF) entitled "Financial Returns from Nature" (project 1) and "Country Prioritisation" (project 2). The work will involve producing a study of the types of financial returns that are possible from nature and identifying Official Development Assistance (ODA) eligible countries that the programme could partner with, and the types of interventions that would be most successful in these contexts.
