King Edward Vl Community College - Tender for Cleaning Services.

The successful Supplier will be required to provide the cleaning services for King Edward Vl Community College. The contract will commence on 1.4.2018 for a period of 3 years, with the potential to extend for a further 3 years. This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful Supplier also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision. We are seeking a suitably experienced Supplier who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE / FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the South West of England, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed during the contract term. The scope of the contract covers the provision of cleaning services at the school for both day-to-day cleaning and also that of holiday and periodic cleans. The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within King Edward VI Community College on the contract performance. The service is currently provided by way of an in-house provision, although one employee is employed by a contractor, and the successful Supplier will be expected under TUPE to meet the current terms and conditions of employment, including that of pension benefit where applicable. The projected cost of cleaning for the first contractual year is 100 000 GBP.
