Description
Community podiatry services NHS Scarborough and Ryedale and NHS Vale of York CCGs The overarching aim of this service is the local provision of a high quality community podiatry service that is delivered for the GP registered patient population of NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG and NHS Vale of York CCG, which will improve patient outcomes within available resources. The service shall coordinate, promote, embed and provide, via the usual integrated structures for access, a holistic care pathway that has self-care, preventative care and medical care as the key components to improve the overall quality of life for patients and carers affected by foot health problems. The primary purpose of the service is to provide an evidence based service through an agreed route of referral for podiatry patients. A service that is accessible and provides timely podiatric and bio-mechanical assessment and management of podiatric related issues by a highly skilled workforce, reflective of patient’s needs.
