Description
A requirement now exists to procure equipment suitable for teaching the practical aspects of control engineering to undergraduate students by means of bench top working laboratory models intended to represent full size industrial system. This equipment will typically include a conveyor system, an elevator, a heated air flow system, a non-linear multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system and a configurable servo motor mechanism enabling students to develop experience relating to the principles of control and instrumentation. The lowest value has been declared at £25,000 but the University does not know at this stage what the actual value might be.
