CDC Property Building Surveying Services

This Project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014 - 2020. Craven District Council (CDC) has set a target of achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030. In order to achieve this, we have identified various energy reduction and renewable technologies which are to be retrofit in our operational buildings. As part of the project we are proposing to insulate the roof of the concert hall at Skipton Town Hall High Street, Skipton, BD23 1AH (approximate floor area 325m2). A Grade II listed building. The second part of the project is to re-roof the Book of Remembrance Chapel at Waltonwrays Cemetery, Carleton Road, Skipton, BD23 3BT. This re-roofing should include insulation and roof integrated solar photovoltaics and be in keeping with the historical nature of the Crematorium buildings.
