Description
Background: As a core component of a Community Renewal Fund Project, Norwich, King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth BIDs are seeking to support businesses to grow, adapt and seize new opportunities presented by a green business model. The aim is to enable and encourage businesses to prioritise the reduction of their overall environmental impact, moving towards a zero-carbon output, without having a negative impact on revenue growth. The supplier will develop the 'Zero Waste Champions' initiative and support a minimum of 325 businesses within the target areas to develop a Net Zero Carbon strategy and delivery plan. We would like to see each participating business achieve 'Zero Waste Champions' status. The supplier will also actively engage with the local community and help businesses raise consumer awareness of net zero carbon.
