Description
The London Borough of Barnet's Family Services recognise the importance of high quality, specialist legal advice for our young people in care which focuses on their needs. We wish to address the delays experienced for many young people who are seeking to resolve their immigration status. The prolonged uncertainty in this area causes distress and anxiety for young people which can impact on their ability to reach their potential. The London Borough of Barnet seeking bids from a children's immigration specialist organisation to work in partnership with us to develop new ways to identify and resolve the immigration and citizenship needs of children and young people in local authority care. We are looking for a provider who can share our values, putting children and young people at the centre of their work and ensuring equality irrespective of nationality, 'race' gender, disability, religion or culture.
