Homelessness Visiting Support Service

Medway Council Strategic Housing working with Medway Public Health is looking to appoint for 6 months a Visiting Support Service. This service is expected to support people formerly sleeping rough who have been placed into accommodation by way of Medway Council's Covid-19 response exercise. The service would visit people at their accommodation, or find other suitable venues or agreed communication methods, and provide ongoing support to help them maintain their tenancy (whether long term or temporary) and address other concerns and support needs (linking in with specialist and universal services, dealing with welfare benefit issues, etc) and reporting back through agreed channels to Medway Council's Rough Sleeper Initiative Team.
