Description
Provision of patient transport services within the areas of High Weald Lewes Havens CCG, Coastal WestSussex CCG, Crawley CCG,Horsham and Mid Sussex CCG, Brighton and Hove CCG, Hastings and Rother CCG, Eastbourne Hailsham and Seaford CCG Type of procedure Negotiated procedure without prior publication No tenders or no suitable tenders/requests to participate in response to restricted procedure Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable for the contracting authority and in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the directive. Following the original tender exercise in 2015, only one tender was received. The contract was awarded to that tenderer. Due to unforeseen issues the contract will need to be terminated early and there will be no provision of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services. Therefore there are no suitable bids, and the CCG and the other participating CCGs cannot be left without a provider and as a consequence this contract needs to be placed urgently. The contract duration is the same as awarded under the initial tender process. Following publication of this notice in OJEU (sent to OJEU 1/11/16) , the contracting authority will allow a 10-day standstill period prior to entering into the contract, pursuant to regulation 99(3)(c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
