Description

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk intends to form a Framework Agreement for routine and emergency repairs to the Hunstanton coastal defences located in West Norfolk. This framework will likely consist of up to 4 contractors. Throughout the duration of the framework, the scope of repairs required are likely to include the following: •Concrete patch repairs to the seawall, promenade, wave-return wall, slipways and beach access steps. •Replacement of concrete blockwork units to a section of blockwork seawall. •Asphalt repairs to sections of asphalt surfaced promenade. •Mortar joint replacement to a section of blockwork seawall. •Joint sealant replacement to the seawall, promenade, wave-return wall and slipways. •Health and safety works to concrete groynes and timber groynes.
