Description

A competitive tender was undertaken seeking to award a contract to a provider for the provision of integrated advocacy in adult social care and health ensuring a coordinated approach where advocacy services work collaboratively across health and social care systems to support individuals in having their voices heard, rights respected and needs met, especially when navigating complex care pathways. The Integrated Advocacy Service, comprises of the following advocacy services: Care Act Advocacy (CAA) in and out of borough, Paid Relevant Person's Representative (RPR) in and out of borough, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), In and out of borough to any qualifying residents under the terms of the DoLS Code of Practice and as described in the Act, Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent Health Complaints Advocacy and Community (CA) - non statutory The contract is to be awarded for a period of 5 plus an optional 1 year extension (a total of 6 years).
