Highways Infrastructure Winter Service Gritting Route Optimisation

Leeds City Council invites tenders from specialist contractors for a gritting route optimisation exercise. The primary objective is to reduce the number and length of gritting routes from the current 30, through an optimised routing strategy. The exercise aims to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, reduce carbon emissions and maintain effective road treatment during winter weather conditions.
