Grass Cutting in Wyre & Marches Forest Areas

The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for a grass cutting service contract around 11 car parks and recreation sites in Shropshire, North Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The contract is for four years with a break option after 12 months. The cutting season is from 1st April to 31st October. Areas around the car parks are primarily grass but may also involve cutting bracken, bramble and nettle. Areas around benches and waymarkers and along trails within the woods are likely to be largely bramble and nettle.
