Description
The Precision Manufacturing Centre, part of the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing, Faculty of Engineering, is in the process of finalising its ERDF proposal "Supply Chain Improvement Network" ("SCINet"). If successful, we expect the funding agreement to be signed with a project start date between 1st October 2019 and 1st February 2020. As part of the proposal, there is provision for a "Consultant" to be procured throughout the duration of the 3 year project. As such this contract will be dependent on the funding being successful. Scope The Consultant will be expected to work an average 1 day a week throughout the 3 year project. Their primary responsibilities are to: •Train and support the SME delivery partners in ERDF regulations, compliance and best practice, which will be on-going throughout the project. •Support the ERDF Programme Manager to collect the relevant documentation/evidence from the delivery partners for ERDF claims. •Provide ERDF claims experience, expertise and knowledge in order for the project to meet its spend and output targets. •Work with the ERDF Programme Manager to develop and distribute a Project Handbook amongst all the delivery partners.
