Description

The National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) is the hub for recruitment to NHS healthcare science education and training programmes. The NSHCS is inviting quotations for an online testing tool for Recruitment to the Scientist Training Programme from 2020 onwards, commencing on July 2020 to July 2023, with some initial communication/implementation work required from the supplier with the online application provider in advance of the start date. The programme is a national competitive training scheme attracting approximately 6000 initial applications each year. Applications are longlisted by way of applicants completing online numerical and logical reasoning tests. These tests are accessed through a link in the online recruitment portal and scores from the tests feed into that portal. This allows the system to filter out applications down to shortlisting. Part of the requirement is providing a sample/practice test for applicants so that users can familiarise themselves with the appearance/timing/operation of the test interface. Provide a practice version of the tests, clearly distinguishable from the full version, to enable candidates to familiarise themselves with the operation. The practice version should contain mock examples, and the scores should not be saved. Applicants should be able to access the practice version as often as they wish.
