Description
Introduction: Essex County Council's (the Council) current Total Facilities Management Contract ends on the 30th September 2026 with no further option to extend. Therefore, the Council has started on our journey of discovery, regarding how the Facilities Management provision could evolve and innovate beyond this date and would like to engage with the Facilities Management Industry as part of this approach. Market engagement: Following initial market engagement, the Council are now keen to engage further with the market through the publishing of an RFI. The purpose of this RFI is to assist the Council with specification and contract design. This RFI is aimed at TFM providers who can carry out all three of Hard FM, Soft FM and Programme Management. Further engagement with other services will follow in due course. Following the RFI, the Council may request additional meetings with providers to discuss their answers in greater detail. The RFI can be found under the Project DN710367 on the Council’s sourcing Portal Pro Contract. Please complete this RFI by 12 noon on 7th June and return it via the messaging function on Pro Contract. Further meetings will take place between Monday 17th June and Friday 28th June. To be notified of our upcoming events please visit the Essex Provider Hub https://www.essexproviderhub.org/facilities-management-and-property-re-procurement/introduction/ as this is where we will be releasing updates of our latest events and all resources relating to the project can be found.
