Description
Nottinghamshire County Council require regular, reliable deliveries of good quality fresh produce to a range of sites across the County. Sites include schools, day services, children's residential homes and the Council's trading arm County Enterprise Foods in Worksop. Fresh produce required includes, but is not limited to, fruit and vegetables, prepared fruit and vegetables, chilled dairy products, fresh free-range eggs, fresh bread and morning goods. In addition, the capability to offer organic produce is desirable but not mandatory for this contract. The objective of this process is to competitively procure for the supply and distribution of Fresh Produce. It is anticipated that two contracts will be awarded to two different Suppliers with one Contract covering the North of Nottinghamshire County, and the other covering the South of Nottinghamshire County. It is anticipated the Contract will commence on the 1st April 2020 for an initial term of 2 years with the option to extend for a further two years. The estimated total Contract value over the maximum term of four years is £5,880,000.
