International Integration of Technical Standards for Energy Smart Appliances

BEIS requires the work led by the UK national standards body BSI developing technical standards for ESAs and DSR to be interfaced with the work of the International Organization for Standarization Technical Committee ISO/TC 205. Kinberry Limited will provide a report on the relevant activities being undertaken within ISO/TC 205 and will work with BSI to assist developing UK standards for ESAs that can integrate with ISO/TC 205. This work will allow BEIS to build upon existing standardisation activities at international forums while addressing gaps and needs identified by UK industry, and therefore, act as a bridge between UK industry led standardisation by BSI and international stakeholders.
