T0448 GD 300 Development Work (inc DMRB 2025)

National Highways Safety, Engineering and Standards' Road Design Group (the Client) is procuring technical consultancy services to support the continued improvement of National Highways' all-purpose dual carriageway network via further development of the GD 300 concept. Objectives The core objective of this work order is the production of a list of recommendations for a revision to Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) document 'GD 300' that omits level 4 (motorway designation) and shifts the focus of the document to enhancements over and above the all-purpose dual carriageway baseline i.e., current levels 1-3.
