Description
The project consists of replacing a doorset to ground floor flat 53 to meet FD30s compliance, replacing front entrance cupboard doorsets to FD60s fully compliant fire doorsets internally to flats, FD30s riser cupboard doorsets to service panels to the communal lobby and allowance to upgrade Georgian wired glazing and frame to existing fire doorsets adjacent bin chutes leading to balconies. In addition, within the communal areas, to achieve code compliance, enlarge the existing structural opening to achieve 1.5m2 free area of smoke extraction from central stair core. Install a fixed vent(s) once the openings have been enlarged. Prior to completion there is an allowance to carry out associated firestopping works inside Flats 16 and Fat 49 adjacent to living room ventilation shafts. Carry out redecoration works to remainder of the block to uphold the newly refurbished standard to Ground Floor throughout the remainder of the block.
