Temporary Building Structure - Market Engagement

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority is seeking expressions of interest in the provision and installation of a temporary insulated building at the Headquarters site, Southfields Road, Kempston, Bedford, MK42 7NR. It is the intention of the Authority that the temporary building will be used for the purpose of our HQ Stores Department. Please be advised associated grounds work will be out of scope of this project. The key requirements are as follows: • Temporary Stores insulated building • Single storey • 7.5 x 15 metres (minimum 4.4 metres high) • Aluminium Frame manufactured to building regulation code BS6399 wind & snow • Steel cladding walls to a minimum of 40mm • Insulated roof • Electric roller shutter door 5m wide x 4m height • Pedestrian access • Emergency fire exit door push crash bar • Internal lighting to be LED Expressions of interest must be issued to the Authority by emailing the Procurement Team at procurement@bedsfire.gov.uk by Friday 2 October 2020. In addition to assessing the level of interest of the market, the Authority would be interested in obtaining information on the delivery and installation timescales should we be in a position to award a contract by mid-November 2020.
