ST312 Contract for a Specialised Energy Agent

Stafford Borough Council is seeking a contractor with expertise in home energy efficiency to work with it to develop and deliver programmes to tackle fuel poverty and reduce the negative health impact of cold homes in the Borough in accordance with guidance issued from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng The Council wishes to develop programmes that deliver against the following key objectives:- • Reducing the levels of fuel poverty in the Borough; • Improving the levels of health and wellbeing in the Borough; • Reducing the level of CO2 emissions from homes in the Borough; • Maximising inward investment and employment opportunities within the Borough through the delivery of energy efficiency programmes. • Influence residents behaviour to ensure outcomes achieved are sustainable The contract value is estimated at £33,000 over the potential 3 year term.
