Description
Lancashire County Council is seeking Tenders for the provision of lease and maintenance services as detailed in the tender documentation. Upon award of the Framework Agreement with the sole successful Tenderer, the Authority intends to place an order for the lease of approximately 30 tractor units with associated trailer units, to be ready for pre-inspection by early October 2020 and operational commencement on 01/11/2020 by the End User Lancashire Renewables Limited. The Authority intends to allow a minimum of 9 months' lead-time between placing the order and the pre-inspection deadline. The Framework Agreement will be in place for a period of four years from 13/12/2019-12/12/2023 and the lease period (order) for the tractor and trailer units is expected to be five years from 01/11/2020-31/10/2025. The anticipated makeup of the fleet requirement and a brief summary of the Services is as follows: - 16 6x4 axle configuration tractor units each hauling an ejector trailer (landfill/off-road spec) - 14 6x2 axle configuration tractor units each hauling a walking floor trailer (road spec) - Dedicated full time service engineer supplied with a van, to conduct onsite servicing of Equipment at LRL's Farington and Thornton sites - Maintenance including tyre management services for the Equipment under lease
