Farm Carbon Pilot: Fellfoot Forward

The primary objectives of the contract are: • To complete farm carbon assessments for 5 pilot farms in the Fellfoot Forward landscape • To support farmers in pilot programme with bespoke action planning to reduce their carbon emissions and increase farm carbon sequestration. • To provide training for staff of the Farmer Network, the North Pennines AONB Partnership and Cumbria Action for Sustainability in data collection, interpretation and action planning for farm carbon. • To provide training for other farmers in the Fellfoot Forward landscape in completing their own farm carbon assessments. The Council has confirmed NLHF (National Lottery Heritage Fund) funding to enable delivery of this Project.
