Description
Tenders are required for the provision of insurance and risk management services to the members of the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) to meet the cost of staff absence. The CPC is seeking to establish a multiple provider Framework Agreement of Staff Absence Insurance and Associated services. Each provider shall be either a direct insurer (including mutual insurers) or an insurance broker. The successful providers will deliver comprehensive insurance policies which provide a daily benefit payment for each day of absence. End users will access the framework via a mini-tender process involving the submission to all eligible providers of a questionnaire-based request for proposal in a standardised format. Contracts will be with individual member institutions. The framework will be split into two lots as detailed below. CPC will be looking to appoint a maximum of 4 providers per lot. Lot 1 Staff Absence Insurance Lot 2 Budget Overspend Insurance The principal requirement will be for maintained schools, academies, Free Schools, and similar institutions. It is a requirement that the selected supplier(s) will provide this service to CPC members across the UK. We expect the selected supplier(s) to extend the terms to all eligible Institutions and consortia, as defined by the CPC including Further Education Institutions, Sixth Forms, Academies, Schools, Museums, Universities and other similar organisations.
