21671 - Expression of Interest - Marine Engineer (Pontoons & Slips). Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City, made history in 2019 when key local, regional and national partners came together to create the UK's first ever National Marine Park (NMP). This has cross-party support locally and has now been recognised by central Government. Plymouth City Council is helping to co-ordinate the development and delivery of the National Marine Park. In June 2021 the Plymouth City Council was awarded £9.58million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund - Heritage Horizon Awards - towards the development of the NMP. Thanks to the lottery players, we can now start bringing the Park to life.
