Description
To construct two Equality Act-compliant toilets at the Windmill Centre, Deddington. One to be internal access, one external access, vandal-proof and lockable (see schematic and pics) Notes for Guidance Break up existing concrete foundations, dig and lay new foundations and concrete new floor slab Move existing fire doors north to allow sufficient space for toilets Build brick and block walls for new toilet blocks with opening for doorway facing playing field Build an insulated flat roof over new building Installation to be in line with the government's M1 or M3 documentation Create ramp with handrail to the new toilet Create partition wall between the two toilets Create entrance lobby between internal toilet and existing hall Create new sliding doors from toilet into lobby and lobby into hall Board and plaster all internal walls Install chosen toilets and basins etc. into both toilets, including plumbing and electrics Connect emergency lighting, alarm chord, and door timer system Fit disabled toilet door, and vandal-proof steel door Make connection to new foul drainage (to be taken round north side of building) Make good, tidy site and remove all debris Please confirm how the topography allows the drain connection to work (utilities and topographical surveys to be supplied) Quotes to be made out to Deddington Parish Council, show VAT and be returned to the Clerk. Reference required.
