Description

This is an ongoing requirement. It is unlikely that the Council will wish to terminate services at remote sites or require access to IT systems a events such as elections and Goose Fair. Whilst there are no other providers of the same service within Nottingham's area it is likely that the Council will continue to consume services from INeedBroadband. The supplier represents best value because they are the sole supplier able to to provide the required service. The Council has need for resilient wireless network services to support permanent sites that are off the wired network and would not be cost effective to add to it, e.g. cemeteries and crematoria, and to support events, which may be 'one-offs' or occur infrequently, e.g. elections, Goose Fair, where network connectivity is required for service delivery.
