Description

Peterborough City Council will shortly be conducting a Competitive Process under the The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and will be recommissioning substance use services within the City and will be delivering two sessions (one face to face and one via Teams) to give an overview of our needs assessment and the proposed service model to Providers. There will be three specifications discussed at these events; 1) Core Service Specification Providers will be expected to deliver early intervention measures, as well as a treatment and recovery offer across the City, focusing on a strength based, person centred model where treatment outcomes are paramount. 2)Lived Experience Recovery Organisation Model The Council has an ambition to develop a Substance Misuse Lived Experience Recovery Organisation in Peterborough that is independent of the core service provision and would like to discuss proposals around this 3)Life Skills Specification Providers will be expected to deliver an offer that focusses on holistic and wrap around skills and support needed to sustain treatment outcomes. The proposed models will incorporate Adults, Children and Young People and will be expected to work in partnership with primary care settings, education, statutory partners, voluntary and faith sectors among others. Substance Use Commissioners welcome the opportunity to discuss the proposed priorities with Providers to gain their feedback prior to an Invitation to Tender being issued. The face to face event will be held on 29th April 2025 from Noon to 1.30pm to be held in Sand Martin House, Bittern Road, Peterborough, PE2 8TY. The teams event will be held on Friday 9th May 2025 from 11.30am to 1pm If you wish to attend please register your interest and message via the messaging function advising which session you would like to attend and the names of attendees. If you wish to attend the virtual event please also provide email addresses for each attendee to facilitate the link being provided.

Surrey County Council
In Surrey our vision is for every adult and child experiencing domestic abuse to be seen, safe and heard, and free from the harm caused by perpetrator behaviour. \n The work we undertake will drive all action against domestic abuse in the County. It will influence change and secure the commitment of all to prevent harm, which devastates victims' lives, no matter how old they are, and has a disproportionate effect on the lives of young people. Surrey's ambition is 'no one is left behind' and domestic abuse services play a key role in achieving this ambition. \n \n We want to achieve the priorities in our Support in Safe Accommodation Strategy, which include:
