Description

Rossendale Borough Council required a suitably experienced organisation to deliver and manage the Pride in Place Community Grants Programme within Rawtenstall, Waterfoot and Crawshawbooth. The appointed provider will be responsible for the administration, promotion, and delivery of a community grants programme aimed at supporting local projects that contribute to regeneration, placemaking, and community wellbeing. This includes engaging with local community groups and organisations, supporting applicants throughout the application process, and ensuring accessibility of funding opportunities. The provider will establish and manage transparent and compliant grant application, assessment, and decision-making processes, including the development of eligibility criteria, application guidance, and scoring frameworks. The provider will also be responsible for coordinating assessment panels, maintaining appropriate audit trails, and ensuring fairness and accountability in the allocation of funding. Monitoring will include capturing community impact, supporting project delivery, and ensuring appropriate use of public funds. The provider will also be expected to work collaboratively with Rossendale Borough Council, the Pride in Place Board, and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with programme priorities and community needs.
