ESS Machining Station Floor Plates

UKAEA are undertaking delivery of a remotely operated 6 degree of freedom Diamond Wire Saw, called the Machining Station (MS). The diamond wire saw and all subassemblies are mounted on floor plates, which in turn interface with the defined embedment points on the floor of the process cell. The scope of this tender is to manufacture and ship to UKAEA all floor plates, following dimensional checks, to enable the remainder of the machining station to be assembled on top.
