The contract is for the provision of a Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property (IP) system to manage the entire knowledge transfer lifecycle. From capturing information on opportunities, inventions, and patents, to managing licences and commercial income. IP extends beyond IP rights to patents, trademarks, copyright, and design rights which provide legal protection for any know-how, processes or trade secrets which may be developed during a research project.
