Description
The Early Years service has recently adopted a new Locality Partnership model and has identified the 'Trauma Informed Communities' approach as a positive and engaging project for the new partnerships to collectively deliver. Early introductions to this work, delivered by WAVE Trust trainers, has demonstrated a palpable sense of enthusiasm and commitment from the partnerships to working in this way. WAVE Trust are working with the World Health Organisation to develop Trauma Informed Communities across the world and by working with WAVE Trust, Camden is able to influence this work and participate in the international network. WAVE Trust will provide ongoing advice and support to the Camden Early Years' team in the investigation, appraisal, adoption, planning and implementation of a new 1001 days programme and the roll out of a Trauma Informed Communities project. This work includes the arranging and setting up meetings, liaising between the prospective providers and Camden management, advising and engaging in staff support, education, training and resolution of any implementation issues, and costing of the selected programmes.
