ENERGYHUB - Retrofit Technical Advice

The Local Energy North West Hub is seeking the services of a consultancy with relevant expertise to support a programme of Housing Retrofit in the North West. The consultant advisor will support the Local Energy North West Hub to provide services to LEP areas in the North West and Local Authorities. This will include supporting the procurement of assessors and installers, supporting LEP areas and Local Authorities to shape retrofit project proposals. The Local Energy North West Hub is administering funding provided by the Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy to pilot support to Registered Providers of Social Housing. The consultant will provide a Social Housing Technical Assistance recommendations report. The advisor will firstly support the energy hub to engage with Social Landlords across the North West of England and understand current activity. A social landlord will be chosen for a desk-based assessment of decarbonisation options for their stock based on EPC and other data. A second social landlord will be chosen by the hub for support to develop an estate energy decarbonisation strategy. The advisor will provide programme management support across the above areas of activity.
