PAN2117 - Operator for Bike Share Scheme

Leicester City Council invites Tenders for an Operator of a public self-service Cycle Hire Scheme to be used by residents, students, workers and visitors in Leicester. The exact scale of the scheme will be determined by the tender process but we anticipate a scheme with 500+ cycles over 50+ docking stations across Leicester (which may be dependent on the type and spec of bikes). It is anticipated that the contract will run for an initial period of 5 years from the Contract Commencement Date with the options to extend to a maximum of 10 years total.
