Direct Access Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Services in Greater Manchester

Following a bespoke, single-stage competitive process, akin to the Open Procedure, conducted in accordance with Schedule 3 of the PCR 2015, NHS Manchester CCG, NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale CCG and NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG (as the Contracting Authorities) have concluded Direct Access MRI contracts with a total of two Providers to deliver MRI provision across the three Greater Manchester localities. The two contracts commenced 1st October 2021 for a period of three years, until 30th September 2024, with the option to extend for a further two years until 30th September 2026.
