Description
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB) is currently facing unprecedented demand on emergency services, creating significant pressures and patient safety concerns. To address these challenges, the Health Board plans to engage an experienced independent organisation to review existing models of care and operational processes. The objective is to identify practical solutions that improve patient flow and reduce congestion across assessment and inpatient areas. This work will align with the Welsh Government’s directive for “Sprint Reset Weeks” scheduled for January.
