Description
British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is a research institute of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). BAS is seeking to select a provider who can work in close collaboration with its management team to develop and deliver high quality Leadership and Management support to the BAS Operational Team to ensure: · cohesion across the Directorate, Science Team and Operational Team · transferability to all areas of work undertaken by leaders · individual growth which is both challenging and linked to BAS objectives The purpose of this requirement is to establish a programme commencing from September 2016 that will provide essential learning and development support to the BAS operations Team (Approx. 30 staff) over a period of 3-years. The programme will primarily support the middle managers in the Operations function, however, engineers do not work in isolation but in collaboration with scientists. One of the aims of the programme is to help staff in operations develop those skills. To achieve this aim the trainer will have to facilitate workshops for staff across the two functions (Operations and Science)
