Cambridgeshire County Council Meter Administration Service

Cambridgeshire County Council's (CCC) street lighting is accounted for in an unmetered energy account. Inventory lists are sent to the local network operator, UK Power Networks Ltd who in turn forward this list to CCC's appointed meter administrator. The meter administrator uses the data in the inventory list to calculate the amount of energy used by each unit, the results of the calculations are subsequently fed back to the network operator and finally to the energy supplier. The energy supplier can then use the energy usage results to invoice CCC for energy consumed. CCC currently has 5 Meter Point Administration Number's known as MPAN's.
