Theatre in Education - Road Safety

West Yorkshire (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield) has identified through statistical evidence that pedestrians in Year 7-8 are extremely vulnerable. The number of children seriously injured as pedestrians is a cause for concern. A five week tour comprising 10 performances per authority per week is required with a TIE Company to target Year 7 and 8 pupils in those schools in the highest casualty areas. Flexibility is required as each of the 5 authorities may want to book additional performances either on a weekly basis or by individual performance. The Contract term will be for 1 year with 3 options to extend each of 12 months.
