UK SBS PR16084 Earth Observation and Instrumentation Programme

Earth observation satellites provide critical information on essential atmospheric Oceanic and terrestrial climate variables. The key components which enable the satellites to do this are the on-board instrumentation packages. UK Shared Business Services Ltd as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a service contract on behalf of UK Space Agency. The UK Space Agency (UKSA) has a requirement to define, let and manage the Earth Observation Instrumentation Programme. The programme will focus on two key areas: 1. Earth Observation (EO) Instrumentation Development through the management and promotion of the established CEOI brand (http://www.ceoi.ac.uk/) and its associated aims 2. Added Value Programme which is scalable depending on; the success and benefits of continuation of activities undertaken under the EO Programme; knowledge and skills transfer opportunities
