Description
***THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION*** This is a single source action Direct Award of Contract in accordance with PCR 2015 Regulation 72 (1) (b) Modification for additional work, services or supplies where change of contract not possible due to economic or technical reasons. Does not exceed 50% of original Contract Value. The final date and time for submission of bid was 2nd June 2021 at 11:00. DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE BUYER All tender information must be submitted electronically. Brief Description of Requirement: IPP required external technical support as UKSA had no ODA compliance or M&E expertise in house and these capabilities are critical in delivering aid funded programmes. The original support contract (reference PR19017) was lifed to support the 5 year IPP initiative. However, due to unforseen Covid delays which have impacted projects by delaying overseas field work, planned in country technology roll out and critical stakeholder meetings which could not be held by video conferencing, a significant portion of IPP project work will now have to be done in 21/22. The project is currently entering a critical sustainability phase. The work has been sourced direct from the incumbent Supplier as a change would cause significant inconvenience and substantial costs as per PCR2015 Regulation 72 (1) (b) Modification for additional work, services or supplies where change of contract not possible due to economic or technical reasons. Does not exceed 50% of original Contract Value.
