Description
RBWM is a non-stock holding Council and therefore need to procure temporary accommodation to meet homelessness. With a very limited Council's owned accommodation and a need to fulfil its statutory duty, RBWM seek to create a framework for provision of temporary accommodation by appointing a number of suitable Providers (Housing Companies, Lettings Agents or other capable organisations) who can offer a wide range of suitable properties which can be used for temporary accommodation placements by RBWM as/when required. This Open frameworks will be "reopened" (i.e. one framework in the scheme expires as the next one commences) periodically throughout the term to allow new suppliers to tender for a place on the framework. The first reopening will be after 3 years from the award of the first framework (or earlier subject to the Authority's discretion). and the second reopening will happen within a period of 5 years beginning on the award of the second framework in the scheme.
